Dear Readers,
The waters are sparkling, and the Caribbean islands remain a paradise to explore for visitors as we quickly approach peak tourism season throughout the region. It is also a great place for businesses and organizations to thrive that call this slice of paradise home. We touched down in the Caribbean Islands to capture some of the bright business growth, capturing it in features that give a view of a sunny road ahead.
We had the opportunity to sit down with Heroic Concrete and Concrete Products, Telfie Construction Services, and Alfrasure Structures and Roofing to get a glimpse into top priorities. With construction demand on the rise, the need for both affordable and beautifully designed homes and commercial spaces remains center stage. The products, including the concrete to build them, remain essential. Together, these companies are hitting all the right notes with their clients as they focus on all things local, reflecting the continuing strength of the building products and construction services sector throughout the islands.
We also sat down with Inland and Offshore Contractors Ltd, The Turks and Caicos Port Authority, Meridian Caribbean Inc., and LIDA Engineering to learn what makes them tick and how they can seamlessly pivot to a rapidly changing economy while keeping their priorities front and center.
Business View Caribbean also profiles two thriving sector-focused associations based in the region, the Saint Lucia Chamber of Shipping and the Bahamian Contractors Association. Helping guide their members and keep on top of industry and sector realities helps steer their focus through 2026.
As with every issue, my hope as editor-in-chief is that our valued readers continue to learn something new about the business picture across the stunning Islands with each issue we produce for you.
